Independent Driver Responsibility

Delivery drivers are independent contractors and are responsible for:

  • • Maintaining a valid driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle
  • • Ensuring safe food handling during transport


  • Safe Driving

    Drivers should:

  • • Obey speed limits and traffic regulations
  • • Avoid distracted driving
  • • Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs


  • Personal Safety

    Drivers are encouraged to:

  • • Deliver to well-lit areas when possible
  • • Avoid unsafe situations
  • • Decline or report deliveries that feel unsafe


  • Professional Conduct

    Drivers must:

  • • Treat customers and restaurant staff respectfully
  • • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior
  • Failure to comply may result in removal from the UrbanIT platform.



    🍽️ RESTAURANT SAFETY & FOOD HANDLING

    Food Safety

    Restaurants are solely responsible for:

  • • Food preparation
  • • Packaging
  • • Compliance with local health and safety regulations
  • UrbanIT does not prepare or inspect food.



    Allergens & Special Requests

    Customers with allergies or dietary restrictions should:

  • • Contact restaurants directly before ordering
  • • Review menu descriptions carefully
  • UrbanIT is not responsible for allergen exposure.



    🔐 PLATFORM & DATA SAFETY

    Account Security

    Users are responsible for:

  • • Maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
  • • Not sharing accounts with others
  • Suspicious activity should be reported immediately.

    🚨 EMERGENCIES & INCIDENTS

    Immediate Danger

    If you are in immediate danger:

  • UrbanIT Support is not an emergency service.



    Reporting Safety Concerns

    Safety incidents may be reported through:

  • • Website Help Center
  • • Email: support@urbanit.com
  • Provide as much detail as possible to assist our review.



    Incident Review

    UrbanIT may:

  • • Investigate reported safety concerns
  • • Restrict or terminate platform access
  • • Cooperate with law enforcement when required by law

    UrbanIT maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:

  • • Violence or threats
  • • Harassment or discrimination
  • • Fraud or misuse of the platform
  • • Illegal activity
  • Violations may result in immediate account or driver access termination.
